Ahhh, a new year! 2008 was legit...filled
with awesome events and good times!
Now, it's time to get the ball rolling again
by continuing to make life an adventure! Some resolutions are listed to the right:
Let's see how many I can conquer.

-Compete in a Triathlon, the Bridge Run and an Adventure Challenge
-Travel/Work in New Zealand
-Create at least 3 new quality pieces of art per month
-Publish 2nd Baxter's Bunch Book
-Begin outline for Autobiography: Travels, Philosophies and the Way to Live
-Be in best shape of my life
-Do more rock climbing and camping |

The Tony Rice Unit
Tony Rice, the legendary bluegrass guitarist, amazed everyone at the 2nd concert of the Freedom Concert Series. |

Marine Ultimate Team Challenge
"Team Baywatch Wannabees"
US Whitewater Center
1 mile sprint, rock climbing, ropes course, 3 mile trail run, 4 mile trail bike, whitewater rafting, team mental challenges, and 1mile run with marine calisthenics

Futureman and the Black Mozart Ensemble concluded the Freedom Concert Series. Roy "Futureman" Wooten is a 4 time grammy award winning percussionist with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. His unique style of adding percussion beats to classical music was awesome.

Camp Cherokee
5th session
Spent a week as the Food Service Director... planning, cooking, and serving 200 people 3 meals a day!
To the left are the Fruit Towers we made during the Hawaiian theme dinner which boasted fresh fruit, bbq, grilled teriyaki chicken skewers, and rice pilaf!

Tha Big Apple
Ventured up to NYC for a few days of fun! Got into the following: Toots and Maytals concert at BB King's in Times Square, Mets/Cubs game at Shea, cruising all around the city, the Met. Museum of Art and LOTS of people watching! To the left is a view from the city of a sunset over the Hudson River; and a view of Midtown with the Empire State Building from my window in Greenwich Village, Manhattan.

The Tricky Hoedown
Nashville Tenn
This 4th annual benefit for cancer was a huge success! Several of my buddies and I produced this event that had 300 people attend...Food, Drinks, Bands, Dancing, Giant Slides, Bonfire and Good Times!

Ron and Tish visit for Christmas
Two of my Aussie friends made their first trip to Tha States and spent Christmas with me and the Fam! It was so much fun!
